Hi, I’m Nadine. After moving to the South Shore from Pennsylvania, I’m all about discovering and sharing the best local spots and hidden gems here. I love exploring this beautiful area and helping others experience it for the first time or through a fresh perspective.
My main focus is on sharing the life on the South Shore, I’m also a real estate agent, and I can help you find your spot here. Whether you’re thinking about a move or just curious about where we explore next, please read on. Let’s connect!
In March of 2025, almost a year ago now, I was in the very beginning of my “creative pivot” after my corporate job was eliminated. The questions of what do I want to do and how do I want to do it were top of mind. And of course, how would I make money?? I reached out to my network, far and wide. One of the most impactful calls was with a Nantucket friend and author, spiritual guru, realtor, Holly Ruth Finnegan. She suggested that I come to…
Native is a glorious shop in Scituate Harbor that sells fair trade, handmade jewelry, art and artifacts from around the world. The Lyman Estate Greenhouses are in Waltham, Massachusetts, on the historic Lyman Estate grounds, just about 40 miles from Scituate. Built in the early 1800s, they’re some of the oldest greenhouses still standing in the country and were used by the Lyman family to grow fruit, flowers, and other plants that couldn’t survive New England winters. The greenhouse includes several different houses, like the Grape House, Camellia House, Palm House, and Orchid House, each designed for specific types of plants. The greenhouses are run by Historic New England and are open to…
