Hi, I’m Nadine. After moving to the South Shore from Pennsylvania, I’m all about discovering and sharing the best local spots and hidden gems here. I love exploring this beautiful area and helping others experience it for the first time or through a fresh perspective.
My main focus is on sharing the life on the South Shore, I’m also a real estate agent, and I can help you find your spot here. Whether you’re thinking about a move or just curious about where we explore next, please read on. Let’s connect!
Yacht Rock and coastal New England just go together, especially in the summer! There is nothing more South Shore than seeing the band Yachtly Crew at the Music Circus in Cohasset. The Lyman Estate Greenhouses are in Waltham, Massachusetts, on the historic Lyman Estate grounds, just about 40 miles from Scituate. The greenhouse includes several different houses, like the Grape House, Camellia House, Palm House, and Orchid House, each designed for specific types of plants. The greenhouses are run by Historic New England and are open to…
One of the many things I love about Scituate is the proximity to Boston and the Cape; we’re about 30 miles from both. Last Sunday, we enjoyed a gorgeous November day in Sandwich, the first town encountered after crossing the Sagamore Bridge. Sandwich is the oldest town on the Cape, and it’s known for 1800s glass manufacturing, a great historic district, and the boardwalk. I love the great shops and even better restaurants. Well, one restaurant in particular. Brunch The Fisherman’s View is my go-to restaurant because it…
When my mom and her partner visited us in September, we found the Cross Street Flower Farm, and what a find! From their website “Our flower fields at the historic Jacobs Farm explode with color from early Spring through late fall. Our farm tells the story of the seasons through flowers, beginning with Tulips and Daffodils blooming in the fields in April, Ranunculus and Poppies in May, and Sweet Peas and Peonies in June. Our fields hit their peak with a mass of Zinnias, Sunflowers and so many…
